Glocal Corporate Research & Investigations

(GCRI)

Corporate Intelligence • Due Diligence • Investigations • Risk Advisory

Overview

Glocal Corporate Research & Investigations (GCRI) is a UK-based corporate intelligence, due diligence and investigations consultancy. Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with a strong regional presence in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, GCRI supports organisations, professional advisers and private clients that require reliable, discreet and decision-ready information to manage financial, operational, regulatory and reputational risk.

The firm's work is designed to help clients understand who they are dealing with, identify potential exposure before a transaction or appointment proceeds, investigate suspected misconduct, and establish proportionate controls around high-risk relationships and activities. GCRI combines corporate research, open-source intelligence, investigative methods and risk analysis to deliver clear findings tailored to the client's commercial objective.

Our Purpose

In increasingly complex cross-border markets, informed decisions depend on more than routine database checks. GCRI provides structured intelligence that helps clients assess counterparties, suppliers, investors, employees and other third parties with greater confidence. Our purpose is to turn complex information into practical insight: what is known, what needs verification, where the risks sit, and what action should be considered next.

  • •Fraud, misconduct and asset-related investigations, including fact-finding and evidential research support.

Due Diligence & Third-Party Risk

GCRI assists clients in building a clearer view of the people and organisations behind a proposed relationship. Our due-diligence work can be adapted for pre-transaction assessment, onboarding, supplier screening, distributor reviews, investment decisions, tendering processes and ongoing monitoring. The depth of work is scaled to the level of risk, the jurisdiction involved and the nature of the proposed relationship.

  • •Corporate structure, ownership and control analysis.
  • •Director, shareholder and key-person research.
  • •Sanctions, politically exposed person (PEP), adverse-media and reputational-risk screening.
  • •Litigation, insolvency, regulatory and enforcement research where available.
  • •Source-of-wealth and source-of-funds focused intelligence support, where appropriate.
  • •Supplier, agent and intermediary risk assessment.
  • •Country, sector and operational risk considerations.

The result is a practical assessment that enables a client to proceed, proceed subject to safeguards, seek further clarification or decline the relationship based on a transparent understanding of the available evidence and residual risk.

Investigations & Intelligence

GCRI provides discreet research and investigative support where a client needs to establish facts, understand a potential irregularity or prepare for legal and internal processes. Matters may involve suspected fraud, conflicts of interest, employee misconduct, misrepresentation, diversion of assets, contractual disputes or concerns about a counterparty's conduct.

Investigative engagements are handled with care for confidentiality, legal considerations and evidential integrity. The scope is agreed with the client and, where required, in coordination with legal advisers. Findings are presented in a structured format to help clients understand the facts identified, the limits of the available information, and possible routes for further action.
