How to use these indexes
When you get a new country, use these maintained lists to locate the official business register URL before pulling any company data. Start with AML-CFT (most comprehensive), then DisputesRegister to check if accounts are available, then EBRA for visual confirmation.
AML-CFT — List of Company Registers
Curated list of official company registries worldwide, grouped by region (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle East). Primary global index for corporate registries.
Business Disputes Register — Company Registries by Country
Table with country, registry name/URL, whether basic data is free, and whether financial data is available. Ideal for analysts — see at a glance if accounts are available and if fees apply.
Wikipedia — List of Official Business Registers
Encyclopaedic list of official business registers by jurisdiction with descriptions and links. Good third cross-check for smaller jurisdictions.

Clickable world map to business registries. Click a country to go directly to its official business register website. Very visual and easy for junior staff.
EU Business Registers Portal (BRIS)
Search facility plus links to all interconnected EU/EEA business registers under the BRIS system. Use for EU/EEA work rather than searching each member state individually.
SOP Note — Record-keeping
For each registry used, note in your working file: registry name · official URL · date accessed · search terms used. Where information is unavailable (accounts not filed; no online property search), note this clearly as a limitation in your report.
